Clam coffee table

It sounds to me like we're talking about a look down tank then, not a coffee table. Thats not bad, but to me, a coffee table doesnt have hanging lights on it or other obstructions.

Exactly....I thought he was referring to something like those tanks you see in SkyMall that literally have a glass top and are real tables.

Anyone see the book on clams by daniel knop? there is a really cool picture of an aquarium in germany that was made to show off these clams with a slanted glass. ANyone know what I am talking about?

Yea I believe clamsdirect sold them. Not sure if they still do or not.

This is the exact idea I wanted to do. I'm going to put some major research into this one. There has to be a way to do this. Yes it will cost $$$ but a clam coffee tank will be great.
