Clam collecting seasonal??

I am trying to find some clams to order, and it seems as though everyones selection is fairly low.. Is this just chance, or is the clam market seasonal? I would like to find a "what you see is what you get" dealer..

Barry stated that he is going to have some really nice maximas in this batch, his last batch of baby maxs were some kind of pretty I could not resist and ordered four. LOL now Im broke and cant order anymore.......but like the above post mentioned check out clamsdirect off and on agen tonight...ya gota be quick on that site, the truely stunning ones go fast!

www.etropicals.com also has ultra maximas and other grades as well...but they are not what you see what you get format. If you dont have any maximas yet its a good buy....an ultra maxima is a stunning grade, my first few were purchased like that, then I started just purchasing WYSWYG format to keep from having one of the same color and pattern...but on occasion if Im making an order from them for a must have ora frag, I always snag up a baby ulta max as a suprise for myself..and if it looks like one I allready have then I just plan on growing it out for a few years and trading or selling it off when it gets to the five inch size....lol me and my wishfull thinking,,,I need to get into a five step program to quit purchasing frags and clams lol
