Like to find out what type color of clam will be best for viewing from the front glass not top?

The reason I am asking this question is some clams will not show true color unless view from top. I have a tall canopy and need to get on a step stool to view them. It is a pain. I thought just may be some types of color will not distort much even by view from the front.
