Clam disease

I've been having the pinched mantle problem for a few months now and i've been doing to the FW dips. It helps for the time being and then a few weeks down the road it comes back. Is there anyway to eliminate it from the system successfully. I've been losing clams one by one slowly and i need a solution. I'm think the protozoan might be be living in my substrate as well. If i were take out the clams and dip them and leave them in QT for X amount of days would that work or does this protozoan thrive even without clams. any help is apprecitated. Thanks

tell us every additive you add to the tank.

do you use any iron based PO4 removers?

for now add at least 1L of carbon for every 100g in a flow through container/ canister/ reactor and pump 2 to 4x your tank volume through it. a bag just throun in the sump wont work
