ok so I woke up this morning to see one of my clams looks like it has died overnight which is strange b/c it was open normal and looked great yesterday. So I look closer and I see all of these weird snails crawling in and out of the top of the clam. I quickly removed the other clams to the fuge and gave them all a good once over before doing so. I didn't see anything on them. So I took out the affected clam and placed into into an ro water bowl and all of these weird little snails came running out. To my surprise the clams was still alive but for how long I don't know. So I removed all the snail I could. What are these thing? Are they commonly predatory on clams? Thanks for the help

looks like some sort of conch to me although i can't id it. have you introduced any new clams lately? have you bought the conch as part of some cleaner package?

No new clams lately. I defiantly didn't buy it. I found one of these same things about a month back on a clam and I removed it right away and posted it in the other invert forum but no good id was given to me. I haven't seen one since until this morning. All of my clams looked fine yesterday. Normal mantel extension and nice white growth on all their shells. I just hope I don't have an epidemic on my hands. I am afraid to put the clams back into my DT in case of these things possibly eating all my clams.

Ok so I did some research and I think its "Volvarina philippinarum". I just can't find any information on weather its predatory or not.

i think you got the id right, but i don't know what else to tell you other than treating it like pyramid snails, which means through manual removal.
