Clam ID please.

I've had it about 3 months,it was 1" 1/2 " when I got it so it was hard to tell,also my LFS had it under PC light,They told me it was a Deseria clam.Its about 2-3" now,& I have it under 150w MH 15,000k hqi, in a 10g.It has colored up nicely also.

it looks like a Maxima but you need to see the shell to be sure to id any clam

Looks like Maxima, it is surely not derasa.

i thought there was a couple of different types.thank you for your help.Now im wondreing if i should post in the coral forum.& find out if the corals i have are what the LFS told me they were.i think i know more than they do.

people give them differant names like ,teardrop,gold but to science there all just T.Maxima
