Clam lighting and placement

Dolphin Finatic
I plan on picking up a clam in the near future and want to check what my options are. My current tank and light are as follows :

95 gallon Wave Tank ( standard 90 gallon dimensions )
Two 150 watt HQI w/ 12k Reeflux bulbs
Two 54 watt T5 420nm bulbs
Two 54 watt T5 460nm bulbs.

I know the watts per gallon formula is pretty much out the window so I need to know if people are keeping clams under these lights. I'd like to be able to keep the clams on the sandbed if possible and I'm not locked into any particular color of clam.

I can make a ledge and put them up higher if need be, but that would be the last option.

Thanks

Tim

1) with only the 150 watt and a tall tank (90gal to me are just tall 75gal), I think the clam must be high---near the top.
2) too little light for all blue clams---maxima, ect.
3) squamosa maybe OK.
4) try posting in clam forum.
