clam lighting in a 10 gallon

Hello, I have a 10 gallon tank and only have 50 watts of flourescent light . I realize this is not enough light for any clams, but how much watts of metal halide light should I get for a clam? Thanks!

Oh, sorry I forgot to say this. I am moving in a month and when I move I will be setting up a big reef, and when that tank matures I can move the clam.

Well, you could get away with 150 watts of MH, but I'd wait until the bigger tank. Clams need a stable tank, and there are pretty big fluctuations even in a well kept 10 gallon.

thanks, does anyone know where I can get 150 watt metal halides for cheap? Or at least lower then the average prices. Thanks!
