Clam on side

I have this crocea. And it is in the sand bed and it keeps laying on it's side. What should I do? Is this normal. how do I prevent it?

Not normal; if it's not attached, placing it in a scallop or other shell, or a small piece of flat rock, then propping it up with smaller rubble around it until it attaches, can work.

I dissagree. This is a normal way for them to feed. Mine has been on it's side for about two months. I think it's a response to flow, but I'm not a 100% certain. I believe mine was getting too much direct flow and perfered this way to feed.
