Clam problems

I have 3 large clams, 2 derasa, 1 maxima, which have not been fully open for the last month or so. All water perameters are perfect. All corals are doing perfect. I am at a loss........

The clams are all about the same size, 6 inches. They were 3 inches when I bought them a couple of years ago. They were always swollen and beautiful. Now they are almost closed and only open an inch or so. At night they always closed to an inch but now, they don't open any more than what they are at night.

I have a 180 gal with 6' VHO lighting. I know it's not the lighting. They have plenty of light, 6x160, (960) watts worth. There is one purple tang, moon wrasse, and a kohl tang. They are all ok. Snails and crabs are ok also.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do you only have the three fish? I am guessing one of them may be picking at the clams. Wrasse's are not to be trusted with clams, and sometimes tangs pick at them too.

Can you post a list of all water paramaters and tank inhabitants?

Also maybe some pic's of the clams

where are the clams placed in the tank? VHO lighting isn't going to penetrate to the bottom of a 180.
can you post photos of the clams
