I had to move my tank after 6 years..I have a large around 7" Sqaumosa that has been in there for 4 years...After setting tank back up using all the original water, rock and equipment. Everything looks great except my Sqaumosa had tore himself from the rock he was attached to. He left some tissue and about a 1" long, 1/4" diameter piece of muscle like tissue. He is opening and looking as normal. I looked at his bottom side and do not see alot of damage...Should I just let him be?? Will he regrow this tissue??? Unfortionetly the tank need to be moved again in about 2 months, but I will be an expert by then...

what u see left behind are the byssal threads.this is normal after a move or stress.just keep an eye on ur clam and care for as before.when ur clam finds a spot that it likes it should reatach.

Deffinetly been watching..Looks as good as ever just checking to make sure no extra care was needed....Thanks
