I have a small cyano problem in my tank right now.. Before I put my calms in ( 2 months ago ) I turned off my lights and increased the flow. That killed off my algea problem.. Will this effect my clams if I do this again?? I heared it is ok to turn off the lights for up to 3 days but I wanted to get some more info before doing it again..

It depends on how much your clam's reserve energy is. If you have fed the clam enough phytoplankton and has strong lighting to buildup some back up energy then it'll be ok to keep it in dark for a couple days while a steady supply of phytoplankton is applied. But if you don't feed phytoplankton you clam may have already been hanging on the edge of starvation then I'd be afraid of leaving it in the dark for prolonged period.
