Clam Question

I was wondering if I could get a clam in my tank. I have a 37gallon tank with 300watts of VHO lighting. Do you guys think this is enough lighting for the clam? any help would be appriciated

What kind of clam did you want? I think you could get away with a deresa or a squamosa. If it was my tank i wouldn't get a crocea or a maxima. I wouldn't feel comfortable with those two clams without metal halides but thats just me. if you got a crocea or a maxima you will proabley be able to keep it alive it just won't thrive in your tank. Most likley it won't grow much but that just my opinion. hope that helps

You can get sqamosa or derosa clams, if you really want to get crocea or maxima you'd need to place them right under the water surface.
