Clam question

So I just bought a small clam and was wondering what's the best way to feed it if it is needed? I've been reading phyto or oyster feast but I'm not sure. This is a picture of the clam

I have a derasa and a blue maxima thats been in my tank a year plus for the most part they are filter feeders ive never fed my clams since ive had them. And i keep my clams on the sand bed thats where most people i know who have them place there clams at.

All you need to feed it is bright light. Maxima clams are primarily photosynthetic.
