Clam Removal?

Ok everyone, I need your input. I've got to get my crocea (sp?) clam off a rock since it is being over grown with Xenia. I can't put the xenia anywhere else so the clam has got to be moved to a diff. part of the tank. How do I remove it with out killing it? It has attached itself, not free sitting or glued.
Thanks for your help,
Shauna

Gently(!) work a razor blade under the shell, making sure to work it toward the rock- the aim being to snip byssal thread w/out hitting the foot. Hopefully mostly softer rock surface will be removed- good luck

It worked, the clam has been relocated to a rock on the DSB out of harms way. The foot and threads weren't damaged, the rock was pretty soft and cut pretty easy. Thanks for the help.
