I have had some bad luck lately the three clams I have had for almost a year now are dying off one by one
The first to go was my crocea and then my teardrop and now my maxima over the course of about 4 weeks. The last thing I changed on my tank was to dose interceptor and I think about a week after the second dose is when the crocea died and about 2 weeks after that the teardrop and now my maxima is looking pretty bad. I just checked the tank and there is nothing out of the ordinary. I also took my Ca reactor offline about 6 weeks ago and began to dose calcmax again which gives me a Ph swing of 8.1 to 8.4 almost instantly and then remains at 8.4 throughout the day. Is this enough to kill 2 clams and maybe a thrid? I am running Zeo so I do not add phyto and or anything to the tank I am thinking about taking the clam out and feeding it in a seperate container in the sump or something if anyone thinks it might be a food issue but the clam is well over 3" any adivce would be great this is as bad as it has looked. It was pinching a little but not like the some pinching pics I have seen since most of the mantle was sucked in as well it wasnt like it was just one tiny spot just some spots were pinched in more then others. (hope that made sense)
