Has anyone kept a clam under pc lighting in a nano tank?
I have a 10 gallon tank with the aqualight 96W fixture and was wondering if it was possible to keep a clam under that type of lighting. It's a total of 9.6 watts per gallon, is that enough?
Nope. Sorry. I've seen it tried several times and all died. It's simply not intense enough light. Even if you had like a 70w MH bulb, the answer would still be no due to insuficiant stability. The parameter swings in a nano are too much for a clam. Sorry, man
