clam woes

ia freind gave me his small croceas clam because he has a cleaner wrasse that out of the blue started nipping at them.it ended up killing his larger clam and this one was attached to rock when i got him.and now isn't.all prams are good.150w halide and 2 pc actinics.could he have already been on his downward spiral.as he was picked at for about a month couldn't extend at all every time he opened he was nipped any help or am i fighting a losing battle.it's a 33g.i know small just trying to save it and give it to someone with a more suitable tank.thanx

its very common for clams to come unattached after they are moved. if the clam is opening fine i wouldn't worry too much.

thanx for the info he has reattached is is opening beautifully.placed him directly under a 150 halide.4 inches below the surfacethanx everyone your info is alwasys greatly appreciated
