Clam's and reef putty

I used some Aqua Medic reef construct to mount a few coral's yesterday, and my clam has been clamped up since. Here are before and after pic's. What do you guy's think?

I've had it for over two year's, since it was a tiny baby.

I was surprised how much of the putty actually get's into the water. They recommend doing it out of the tank if possible, but as we know, that's not alway's possible.

i know just a little will make your skimmer freak out also

My skimmer actually stopped producing foam for a few hour's, and then filled half a gallon in a few hour's.

I dont think I'll be using any more of it.

Try using "Aquamend" from Home Depot. Its completely reef-safe and I've had no problems with it.
