How sensitive are clams to being stung by SPS. I want my tank to have a really grown-in look, but a couple of SPS are approaching my clams as they grow. I'm just curious how bad it'll be if I let them start touching each other.
I have never had a problem with it. As a matter of fact some clams dig into coral heads in the wild. I had one clam sitting on top of a large table acro colony once with no problems.
I was just worried that the corals would sting the mantles and cause problems (I wasn't worried about the shells), but if nobody has had issues, I'll let let it grow and see what happens.
