Clams at RMS

I thought I would pass this along. RMS in Willoughby just got in a dozen or so clams last night. Normally I don't go in there but needed a test kit. Not sure the species but they were selling what looked like 3-4" for $39.99 and large ~4-6" for I think $54.99? Not a clam guy so don't know if thats even a good price.

They were gold in pattern and I was surprised that they actually looked to be in decent shape.

that is a very good price, whats even more wierd is the petco down the road from my house has gold maxima's they have been getting in some good stuff lately

The last few times I have been to RMS the whole system was ich-infected. Before that I bought an emporer angel (juvi) and it looked great untill about 2 weeks later when it died from ich/secondary infection. I used to really like that place but I'm not so sure anymore. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. I am not usually a big fan and prefer to get my fish from Tropical Aquarium or SC. As far as coral goes, they rarely have anything which was a surprise to walk in as see a dozen clams. I am not sure about their other locations but the Willoughby location at least keeps their "coral' tank on its own system.

I saw the clams at rms, they have almost no color

That because they stick them in the bottom of a 90G tank lit by 4 year old VHO bulbs.

RMS in Middleburg Hts. has T. Dersas for the same price. But the condition of thier tanks keeps me from buying much from them.
