clams in a nano

I have 2 babies Maxima in 10g with 72W PC plus supplemental sunlight. After finding their place, they are growing pretty fast (the white is a new growth):

10g and even 6 g tanks have very stable parameters, dosing and top-off - as for any other tank.

I face 2 problems only:
- the clams were small, and I placed the second in may be 2" from the first, on the LR peak, close to the lights. Now they are grown and are too close to each other, almost touching.

- feeding spray-dried ESV phytoplankton even in recommended dose caused the red slime bloom in the tank (at least I think so).

A month later, stopped to feed phytoplankton at all and added protein skimmer, running not all the time. Some micro-greenery is growing on the walls and is released when cleaning glass, and the main food for the tank is the mysis cubes.
