Clams

Hi guys, how’re everyone & their tanks doing? All well I hope. Q: I have been feeding my fish Hikari brand clams on the half shell. Free of parasites & harmful bacteria. Do any of you just get clams at the fish market or grocery store, keep them frozen & feed them to your fish? According to what I read, 7 days in the freezer w/ kill off the bad stuff. I’ve been giving my fish frozen, fresh shrimp forever & haven’t had any problems. Thanks.

I believe @Paul B feeds grocery store clams to his fish.

I’ve definitely heard of people doing it. I don’t believe anyone does any “sterilizing” so you should be fine.
