Clarki clown tank

Hi I am in the process of setting up a new tank.
Its going to be a sps reef with a corkscrew / long tenticle anemone.
The tank is 4x2x2.
I am looking at keeping some clarki clowns and wanted to know if you can keep them in a group rather than just in a pair?
I have kept maroons before and alot of the smaller ones like percs and skunks ect in the past but have never kept clarki clown before so not really sure how aggressive they are?
I know I would have to buy them all at once and as small as I can find them so they have not changed sex yet.
any advice would be great cheers.
I was thinking about 3 or 4 in the tank with little other fish just fish that do a usefull job really like algae eater ect as I am more for my corals than fish but love to watch the clowns interact with the nem.
also does anybody know if the nems mind being together? ie next to each other? and anybody know what sort of par readings the long tenticle requires?
cheers again.

Stick with a pair, clarkis get be aggressive! You can keep multiple lta's together, but there going to take up a lot of real estate and I wouldn't allow them to touch.

ok cheers ive just been reading alot more about the clarki's and did not realise they was so aggresive i always thought they was meant to be alot more peacefull than the maroons and tomatoes.
I am swaying towards percs or saddlebacks now but the corkscrew nem is not their natural hosts so just a bit concerned if they wont host the nem.
I want the corkscrew nem as I wanted a sand nem so I can just have sand in one corner I was thinking about around a 18" footprint which will have 6" deep sand and then rock rubble on the rest of the tank to stop the nem walking about as its going to be heavily stocked sps.

You might look into pink skunks. Pretty, and I believe LTA is one of their natural hosts.

No matter which species you get, though, you still should only keep one pair of clowns.

Skunk and saddle back clowns in the wild do have a few of them host together and I seen people successfully have 3 or 4 of them together. But this usually happens with experienced ppl and they have a large nem to hold them. If you really wanted to do this I would get a trio or 4 of the same size clowns and a large nem. Like a haddoni or h. Magnifica or a gigantea nem. Atleast 12" across for all of them to have a safe spot. When I get a large tank I am gonna do this with black saddleback and a red footed h. Mag or a red haddoni.

cheers for all the input. I was looking at the gigantea but read they walk alot so did not want to risk my sps. I think I will get my corkscrew nem in the tank first and let the settle first while I make my mind up on the clown front.
cheers again
