hello all I bought a pair of clarkii clowns 2 days ago and they seem to not want to come out of there corner. i fed them today and they ate fine just curious if this is normal, I've had a pair of false percs and don't remember them doing this.

thanks

It's where they feel safe and where they consider home. As long as they are active and eating, I wouldn't worry too much about it. My clowns wouldn't leave my heater alone.. and then the back corner... now they always sleep behind my aquascape. They go where they please and might move to a different spot if you change your tank around a bit (flow pattern, aquascape, etc.)

+1 to the above

It can take a week or so before your fish will become used to their new home and feel safe enough to explore the rest of the tank

Yea, mine hovered in the corners, and slept upside down for several weeks to a month. Now they're in their respective BTAs.... Give them time, and when they're comfortable they will come out.

As long as they're eating, and looking normal (normal for a clownfish), let them adjust.
