Clarkii with hole on side

My male clarkii had a run in with a filter the other day, he was having issues swimming, I pulled him off and he had a hickey looking thing. He was a bit off for a day then has been fine the past 3. I came home today and it looks like it burst. He's still swimming and eating fine, should I just leave it or do any antibiotics?

I had a butterfly that same thing happened. It did not make it. But he wasnt in antibiotics and kept eating also

Probably (I am guessing) antibiotics may be useful.

Do you think ciprofloxacn would be ok? I tried the big box stores last night, even walmart, looking for something and they no longer carry antibiotics. Or I can order something offline for delivery tomorrow, I'm just not sure what would be the best antibiotic to try.

I am not an antibiotic expert. Perhaps Bifuran 2?

I would call/email National Fish Pharmaceuticals and ask what they recommend and order there.

Also, antibiotics are always best when fed with food.
