Clarkii won't share his anemone with his partner

Two days ago I got two tank raised Clarkii clowns. Today I found one happily in love with my small green carpet anemone (~4-5") however every time the second one comes close he shoes him/her away. My thought is that they might be the same sex. I didn't get them as a pair. So what should I do in this situation? Do you think the one will change to be the opposite sex and then they will get along?

I am having a similar problem. I have 2 fire clowns in my 20Long. 1 is madly in love with my gig and keeps the other one out. They were the 2 biggest we had so I think they are both female. Over time maybe they will get along.. but mine have been together for ~6 months and still don't associate...

Although there isn't any aggressive behavior ( constant chasing or nipped fins)

Maybe someone knows.. I think its gonna take time or it will just never happen.
