Clarrkii's are bully's

Hello all, I bought a pair of clarkii's last week, and added them to my 90 gallon. I have a very big carpet anemone that they went to within an hour of being in the tank. I only have a pair of maroons(goldstripe) 3 small chromis, and a coral beauty. After being in the tank for around 2 days, the clarkii's chase my coral beauty around like crazy...it looks like they take turns chasisng him. My coral beauty is not small, but my clarkii's are pretty big. I figured that since I also have a condy anemone on the other side of the tank that the clarkii's were just being stingy with the anemones. So I moved the condy right behind the carpet where the clarkii's reside, but there still chasing my coral beauty. I really dont want to take the tank apart, (BUT I WILL IF I HAVE TO) to get either the clarkii's or the coral beauty out. Any SUGGESTIONS on how to get these fish to play nice? Thanx

I would suspect that the chasing of the angel will calm down fairly soon.

I would be more concerned (( long term )) about having two pairs of aggressive clowns in a 90. To be honest I am surprised that they aren't going at it right now. If it doesn't happen in the next couple weeks, I would be willing to bet it will happen when one of the pair starts spawning.

IMO, the best option is to remove one of the pair of clowns. If you decide to keep the Clarkiis, I think the act of taking the tank apart to get the GSMs out will stop the conflict b/t the Clarkiis and the angel.

I'm also surprised they didn't go straight into battle w/ the maroons.
Most likely just a matter of time.
Most clowns are pretty territorial, and somewhat aggressive.
My exp is while my maroons bit at me(tolerable) my Clarks went after all fish in tank once they matured/started spawning.
They had to be removed from my tank as I'm sure they would have been all I was left with.

Are Clarkii's the ones also called Sebae? Kind of cinnamon colored and move like one of those lounge bulls people ride? I have one by himself and he hung out with my blue Tang and even played with him. He insisted on "hosting" my Neon Cleaner Goby and held him hostage in a piece of LR...He and the Tang attacked a poor Turbo snail that was on the rock and killed him.
He is not even 2 inches long. How big are yours?

I was going to get him a buddy and put him in my 75, but now not so sure if he shouldnt't be left a single specimin.

I hope yours don't hurt each other. I didn' t know they were so agressive.

Clarkii clowns can become territorial and aggressive, and just may not like the angel in 'their' territory.

On another note, like others have mentioned, a second pair of clowns in the same 90 gallon tank, especially an agressive pair of maroons in my opinion it's just asking for a fight.

No, clarkii clowns and sebae clowns are not of the same species. I'm not sure what kind of sebae you're describing that is cinnamon color either. Maybe you mean another species like a maroon clown or cinnamon clown?

I think maybe that clown species in question is Saddleback. sorry to go off topic!

There is a big size difference between the clowns...The clarkiis are so much more bigger than the maroons....Actually, the maroons dont even come out as much as they used to. My problem is not with the clarkiis and maroons, it's with the clarkiis and coral beauty...The aggresiveness has calmed down alot since they have been together for a week now. If I was a betting man, I would definitely put my money on the clarkiis. Thanx for your replys.
