clean algae off sea whip

How do I get red Cyrano algae of my yellow sea whip? Turkey baster isn't working... I'm afraid to touch it to clean by hand as my purple sea whip died after I did that to it...

all my gorgs/sea fans/ect are in high flow so they can shed

Mine too, but they haven't.... It's been a week... The purple one shed everything down to just sticks... The yellow hasn't changed.

can you post a photo - if its just sticks - you may be experiencing tissue loss

On the purple it is tissue loss, just want to prevent the yellow from same fate. Can't get a good picture

Used soft toothbrush, its clean now, hoping to see it feed. Also purple looks like it is regrowing?
