clean up crew already?

I have a 90g tank that has been cycling for 2 weeks. I purchased cured LR, so I think it helped speed up the progress of my tank. I borrowed a test kit from my lfs because they were all sold out and are not getting anymore until monday. Unfortunately, the drops for the ammonia test were out,and the nitrates bottle was missing. So, I was only able to test for nitrites and ph. nitrites=0.02 ph=8.4. My question is, do you think it would be ok to already get the clean up crew? Thanks

I wouldn't do it until you were able to test.

I'm going to go to my lfs with a sample of my water and test it there. If everything looks good, i'll probably get some snails. Thanks for the help.

Good idea if it's safe i would add algae and detritus eater. dont wait untill after the fact.
