clean up crew question

Does anybody have any experience with the fuzzy chiton or limpets from ReefCleaners.org? They seem interesting but I am not willing to pay the express shipping fee until I have more opinions.

I've had a few limpets as hitch hikers. They seemed to do ok. I don't think I'd make a special order just for them. But if you're already making an order I'd throw a few in.

Trochus Snails and "maybe" some small hermits. I have hitchhiker limpets and they don't seem to do much. Mexican Turbo Snails if you really have a problem, but they get to the size of a baseball.

+1 on trochus snails ....don't forget nassarius snails those guys come out at night and keep your sand clean ....

I have a hitchhiker limpet that has doubled in size since I first noticed him. He leaves trails in the algae on my glass if I don't clean it for a week.

I had a bunch of hitchhiker limpets. Yes they do great with algae, they are not fast so don't expect impressive results. However, their main food source is coraline, so their tongues are like little grinders, they're great until the decide your sps needs a cleaning..... Also they have adapted to live on tidal zones with strong wave action (hence their body shape) so when it comes to removing one, you better have a razor blade or a 4ft pry bar. My Mexican turbos are great. I can not speak enough about nassarius snails. Not just at night, but any left over food, they take care of in a hurry, anything that dies they are on top of it in 5 min (no exaggeration) I had mine completely dissolve a mature bengai cardinal in 20 min. These guys are insane eaters, but don't do anything for algae

Thank you for all the replies. I will not order them. Anything that can eat corraline algae will scratch up my acrylic tank!
