i am experiencing an algae bloom. i just recently upgraded my lights and ever since, i have a hair and cyano algae problem. i am currently decreasing my photo period to 3 hours daily on reef to slow it down. i do not feed my 2 fish but every 2 weeks (1/4 cube frozen shrimp). i jjust purchased a 3rd fish (kole tang).
i want to know what i should include in a clean up crew for a 29 gal reef with live sand. i want to clean glass, rock and sand. also, where is a good place to purchase these online that may have an order form to mix and match what i want? i have 1 turbo now who bulldozer over anything in his path. i would like to minimize this kind of snails.

If you are still looking for a cleanup crew, take a look at etropicals.com (a Drs. Foster & Smith site). Their Build Your Own reef cleanup package is an excellent option with free shipping on a $60 order. Plus, they have outstanding customer service and a 15 day guarantee.

I received everything in outstanding shape except one bag of Astraea snails went bad. One phone call, and I received a full refund for them. Ended up buying some Astraeas locally.

Highly recommend the Astraeas for cleaning rock, Nassarius snails for cleaning everything (plus they are quite entertaining as far as snails go), mithrax crabs seem to pick at everything, peppermint shrimp, and scarlet reef hermits.
