Which LFS has the Cheapest snail and hermit crab in the bayarea?

Since you are in Oakland, I suggest you go see Lucky Goldfish on Broadway.

Lucky Goldfish often has Trochus snails. They are much better than Astraeas because they can turn themselves over. Though they cost more, if you take proper care of them, they'll live for years.

I don't know the size of your tank. Generally, most people have a lot more snails than hermits.

i like trochus snails too. I think they're $3.50 or something at Lucky Gold Fish, but they're really awesome. I bought 5 from them a year+ ago, and I still have 3. 2 were killed by hermits =P
