Cleaned Up the Fish-Room & Sump...

Well, this was the first weekend in a long time that I didn't have anything on my plate. And, how did I spend it"¦ working on my fish tanks, of course!

Back in July of 2010, when a massive storm hit while we were on vacation, our house went without power for 21 hours. To top that off, my basement floor Dart was underwater when the power came back on and tripped the GFI. So, the tank went another 24 hours without power until we got home the next day. Needless to say, we lost everything with the exception of my Rod Onyx Clowns. And shortly after, the tank was completely overtaken by algae.

So with everything going on at the time, I decided to pull 95% of the rock to cook and just put minimal effort into the basement tank. Well, it's been a little over 2 years since then, and the rocks are still cooking! But, I'm getting the itch to get that tank going again. Anyway, I devoted a good portion of my weekend to my basement tank (120g in-wall), and I figured I'd share a few pics of the reconfigured plumbing and cleaned-up fish-room"¦
