10 g nano reef- how does a cleanup crew of 1 starfish, 5 snails, 4 hermit crabs, 1 crab sound?

Personally, I'd ditch the starfish, add a few more snails and maybe loose a couple of hermits. They're all going to be competing for food, and there's just not that much in a 10g.

I'm setting up a 10g and I'm planning on 8-10 snails and 1 hermit. Maybe a cleaner shrimp.

I also would not even hesitate to ditch the starfish. And also the hermits...they're just gonna end up killing snails for their shells (if they're the right snails) and they dont clean that much. I would say get about 4 or 5 cerith snails and 4 or 5 astreas and maybe 2 nassarius snails and thats about it. If you need more, add on an as-needed basis.

Oh, and shrimp arent part of a cleanup crew really. They scavenge for whatever loose food is in there, but they're not gonna go around eating algae and whatnot.
