Cleaner Shrimp cleaning me!?!?!

Whenever I put my arm in the tank to do water changes, my cleaner shrimp immediately comes out and starts pecking on my arm.

Is it attacking me for just doing it's job and cleaning my arm?

It's doing it's job, pulling off dead skin cells. Mine use to do the same thing. In fact, I had a neon goby that would do it as well.

It's just there instinct. They don't call them cleaner shrimp for no good reason!

My wife gets the biggest kick out of our cleaner shrimp cleaning her hand. My cleaner doesn't get much action from the fish which is a good thing I guess...
