Cleaner Shrimp Died

Hey,
I woke up this morning to my cleaner shrimp, dead on the side of my take.
I noticed he was acting weird yesterday and hid in the rocks which isn't normal.
I recently added a Cody Anemone and did a 20% water change.
I also brought my salinity down from 1.027 to 1.023.

My parameters:
82 Degrees F
pH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 5 ppm

LiveStalk:
1 Yellow Tail Damsel
2 Clarkai Clownfish
1 Fire Fish
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Fire Shrimp (Had for at least a month longer)
1 Camel Shrimp
1 Condy Anemone
1 Watermelon Zoanthid
2 Montipora capricornis

If anyone has an idea what happened, Please tell me :<

Are you sure it's not a molt? Sometimes a water change or a shift in chemistry can bring this on.

What are you using to top off evaporation every day? I'm just wondering out loud how you wound up with 1.027 sg.

You need to get a refractometer and a 32 gallon brute trash can. Mix the water and salt in there for 24 hours before using. Use the refractometer to check the mix. Should be 1.024-1.026. Never mix salt in the tank. Also salinity changes must be very gradual. Like over the course of a week.

Yep,

My Dad always told me that my fish would be fine if salt was low and that
I just needed to poor salt in directly until with was good.
Wasn't the case.
I currently have a refractometer and a 25 gallon unused tank. I'll use that now on.

Anyway, Thank you guys for your support.
I leaned something new today. :)

*Also* I still find it strange my other shrimp and fish weren't effected. >,<
