Cleaner shrimp perched on crocea?

I'm hoping you can reassure me on something. I have a cleaner shrimp that seems to like to be on top of my crocea at night. He treats it as his throne. I haven't seen him picking at the clam but the clam closes up because of the shrimps legs on him. Is this something to worry about. It seems when the lights come on the shrimp moves and the clam opens up as usual. Will the clam be ok with this?

LOL for some reason my fish think my clams are there lazy boy recliners..esp the lawn mower blenny, and orange spot goby.....constantly perched over looking the clam...usually they ( the fish) are busy watching whats going on in the living room lol

I'm a little worried now. He was picking at him this morning! The clam is really ticked off. I don't understand this. The clam looks very healthy with extended mantle (before the picking) with great color and he is very responsive. No signs of any decay or sickness. Now, half of the clam is pulled in where the shrimp has picked and the other half is extending outwards. The good news is that I can't see any actual damage to the mantle, it's just pulled in. I've had the shrimp for only 1 1/2 weeks. I hope I can give him back to the LFS today. Will my clam recover? I know some people say that the shrimp will only picking at a sick clam. How true is this. Up to this point I've had a very healthy looking clam!
