found cleaner shrimp dead the other day. no, it was not a molted skin. he is dead. params are normal (ph=8.3 nirtate=0-2 nirtite and ammonia=0 phosphates are a little high in the 0.09 range but the shrimp wasnt bothered at all) my blenny recently died, and my cleaner shrimp now?

cyano is coming back, any ideas?

Low oxygen perhaps?. Need to know some history of the tank and maintenance, equipment.
Any resent changes or dosing?.
What is your source water and do you test it?

i use tetra test strips. i began runninig GFO a month ago. i use rodi water 0tds with instant ocean reef salt. i thought it could be low oxygen, just wasnt sure. i will adjust my pumps accordingly.

i havent tested iodine, but my cleaner shrimp was molting about once every week or two for the past 2 months.

Molting once every week or two is sign of growth. I would assume it was a change in water parameters. Possibly oxygen as stated above especially if you don't have a protein skimmer that helps with aeration. If you do have a protein skimmer i highly doubt it would be low oxygen.
