Cleaner shrimp Shell???

One of my Cleaner shrimp's molted overnight. do i need to take the shell out of the tank???

I do, but do not think you HAVE to.

I usually leave them in there and let them break down.

You can leave the shell in there. If you have other shrimp or hermits, they will eat the shell. Since the shell is mostly calcium, it should be fine for the tank.

you can also use a turkey baster to blow it out to a spot to reach it

I leave them too. It'll be food for other things in the tank.

Cool Thought I had to take them out, Now that I know that then I'll leave them in the tank...
