cleaner wrasse

i just bought a cleaner wrasse from the lfs and now im reading all of this crazy stuff about this fish being controversial... he seems to be doing awesome in my tank but alot of things i read say they dont live long in captivity...

did i make a terrible impulse buy? thoughts?

as a rule they dont do well in captivity but some make it for a while. at least it was not a lot of $

I hear they live only for a year....and at times i've seen them leave sucker bites on fish...

yea... he was cheap and he seems to be getting along well with my bigger tangs and cleaning them...

hes eating frozen too but i heard this has no nutritional value to them... let hope mine is 1 in a million and he lives longer than a month or so...
