They do very poorly in captivity thus the difficult care level listed. It's allmost impossible to get most to eat in an aquarium. They should be left in the wild IMO.
Without a lot of fish to "clean", it wold most likely bother your three fish to death. As juveniles, they do eat other things - as adults, they only eat slime/mucas, parasites and scales that they clean off other fish. Pitty - there are several that are very pretty.
