Cleaners Breeding

I just noticed one of my cleaner shrimp has a full clutch of eggs under her. I saw the thread on peppermint shrimp breeding but will all the same rules apply for cleaners?

I was looking at adding a couple more to my tank and would LOVE to have some to share with local reefers. I have an extra tank laying around. What are the chances of getting them to survive?

Any links to good reading?

The chances are somewhere between one in a million and impossible. There are many threads here about raising them but the bottom line is it's really tough. Not impossible, just not likely.

David, Why do you thinks it's so hard? Pep's are supposedly easy right? Do you think it's the type of culture? Just wondering...would be cool to break. :) Carl

It's the time to settlement that makes it challenging from what I understand. Like I said, not impossible, just very difficult.
