are there any post on how to clean a 6000 pump. and how long can i run them before i should clean them again

Clean them every 3-6 months depending on calcium and KH levels. The manual illustrates a complete breakdown, if you need another I can mail you the PDF.

It's been 5 months since i bought it and it has so much coraline build up, i cant even open it, i read that i could leave over night in vinegar,, can i just throw it in a bucket with vinegar and water then clean it. also what is the vinegar to water ratio that i should use.

In bad situations you can use pure vinegar, otherwise 50/50 and yse you can soak it overnight to loosen it up to open it.
