i cant keep up with the corraline covering the glass of my tank!!! any suggestions, the algae scraper just does not work!!!!!

the kent scrapper I have works really well on it, but personnel I don't see why you'd want to get rid of your coralline unless you think its taking all your calcium out of the water or its just not aesthetically pleasing to you for some reason?
or maybe i just I'm just uninformed in what harm it could do to your tank?

Yeah, I hate coralline. I go away from my tank for months at a time, leaving at home having the family do nothing but cleaning the skimmer and adding topoff water. When I get home, the coralline on the front glass turns a 48"x24" viewing pane into a 24x18" viewing pane. It's ridiculous.

I always end up just going in with a razor blade and scraping it off. It's the easiest way if you don't have an acrylic tank. I couldn't imagine dealing with coralline in an acrylic tank since you can't use a razor blade. I once tried using one of those acrylic-safe scrapers, and it was just a joke.

yeah thanks guys ... i have a cube and its viewable on 3 sides so i wanted to keep it off those sides! u guys are awesome ... its also barebottom and has almost completely covered the bottom ... i wanted to put white anthelia to cover the bottom ... will that grow over the corraline?
