Cleaning Empty Tank

Have a 135 gallon that just want to clean before I put water in it. Tank was used for freshwater and just has a little of what looks to be algae stains on it .... I've heard the best thing to clean it with is to use a combination of vinegar and water (50/50) solution. Will this work? Sound right to you folks? Anything else you recommend to clean the inside of the tank with instead of the 50/50 vinegar and water solution? Thanks.

Vinegar and water will do the job. I like to use hot water along with the vinegar. Just don't use anything abrasive to scrub the tank - you don't want to end up with scratches.

I have cleaned with a 50/50 solution of the same, I filled up my cube with it overnight, and by the morning i was wiping algae off with a soft rag. No scraping neede, it worked great.
