Cleaning my tank

I have had a tank is storage for a couple of years. My brother was the last one to use it, and it has some serious calcium depots on the glass. I was just going to take a razor and clean it off the best that I could, but its seems to be slow going. Anyone have any good chemical ideas?

Yep, lots of vinegar, water, and elbow grease. Just let the vinegar solution sit in the tank a while before scrubbing.

Vinegar is my friend. Use it to clean my pumps, storage containers, etc.

how does the vinegar affect the tank, does it need to be thoroughly rinsed after the fact?

once you are done cleaning, give it a rinse and let it air dry, it shouldn't give you any problems!
