i want to clean two old maxi jets that have been sitting around unused for two three years they have coralline dried on them do i have to get the old stuff off?

Vinegar......soak it in it for while.

Run them for a few hours in a bucket, 1 cup of white vinegar to 1 gallon of water. The stuff should just brush off when done.
