Cleaning Outside of tank glass

What does everyone use to clean the outside of the tank glass. No matter what I use, I get these annoying streaks. I've tried using newspaper instead of a paper towel, but I still get streaks.

White Vinegar and a paper towel...no streaks. Give it a try. Its perfectly reef safe too.

Do you mix it with water or just right out of the bottle?

I use a micro-fiber rag. Works great.

I use a wet and dry paper towel and yes you get streaks, but just rub it out with the dry one.

Straight vinegar...no need to water it down.

I use a spray bottle full of water and a dry cloth.

Windex sprayed on a paper towel to clean. Microfiber cloth immediately afterwards to remove any streaks and polish the class.

+1 on the vinegar. Vinegar cleans everything!

I use glasswipes that you can buy in a jar, no worries about the particles in the air, and that great clean look!

Everyone should try the vinegar thing. NOTHING I have found works better. $2 buys you a lifetime supply. You wont buy windex ever again...promise.

WINDEX, come on, its full of ammonia, keep it away, RO water with vinegar or just straight vinegar works great.

I use the Novus #1 I think? Not the coarse scratch removing stuff, its just a cleaner/polisher. That's for acrylic, not sure what it would do to actual glass. I use it with a microfiber cloth.

However, if I regularly run my magnet cleaner over the tank (and unfortunately I have to) it usually takes care of the outside too.

A spray bottle of RO water and a squeegee works wonders.

Paper towel soaked in 50/50 white vinegar and tap water. No streaks and clean as a whistle!
