Cleaning Stream pumps

The cavity that holds the impeller for the Stream pump is getting coated with calcium and other gunk. Is it okay to pour vinegar into the cavity and let it sit for an hour or even overnight to clean it out?

Yes. You can also use a toothbrush and use either a dental pic or a long screw of M6 or wider to grab and remove the bottom piece.
